not gonna lie, between facebook and twitter livejournal has grown sort of irrelevant...
but whatever. just played asheton's recital last night, got through it! It's done! I played pretty well, with the exception of a few moments of improvisation I wish i could take back. went to a party and got super wasted, came home to a powerless apartment and found my roommate composing by candlelight!
Now: jazz gig in one week, start threads again, prepare my jury. here we goOoOoO~ |

so i'm going back to baltimore tomorrow. and for the first time ever, i really don't want to go back. I'm scared shitless that I'm gonna get tendonitis again and be back in the same position I was last year--and I'm scared that getting injured any more is going to make it permanent. I've never actually done this thing before (that so many people I have consoled about this do), where I start saying "what if i can't graduate, what if i can't be a musician, what will have become of school, and the instruments i've bought, what am I going to do for a living" etc
This is taking way too long... I wish it would just leave my body for good. |
